We are excited to invite you to participate in a unique event focusing on the field of healthcare: Cutting-Edge Connections in PhD Research: Healthcare Innovation Today on Friday, November 17 (8:30am-11:00am, Curry Student Center).

Whether you are a first-year PhD or are preparing to defend your dissertation, Cutting-Edge Connections is an opportunity for you to:

• Communicate your research and skills to an industry audience in the form of a poster presentation
• Network with employers in the field of healthcare (as well as intersecting fields including sustainability, AI, equity, and technology)
• Learn about companies and career paths of interest to you

During the event, you will present a research poster to employers in the healthcare field. Employers in the healthcare field will circulate. You also will have an opportunity to network with employers and participate in deeper conversations about your work, the work of employers, and relevant career pathways.

You can choose to present research in any of the following interdisciplinary topics within the field of healthcare:

• Health and Sustainability
• Health and AI
• Health and Equity
• Health and Technology

Students will receive support from the PhD Network and Career Design staff in both the development of their poster presentations and preparation for the event’s networking opportunities.
