Distance Networking for PhDs and Postdocs
- Organizer: Employer Engagement and Career Design
- Venue: Virtual – Zoom
How can you network effectively, in a time of social distancing? Networking is a critical component of professional success, and is more important than ever in a time of change when the world’s economy is under pressure. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, about 70% of jobs are found and filled through connections. In this session, you will learn networking strategies that make sense for the present moment, to help you build connections in both academia and industry. This workshop is cosponsored by Employer Engagement and Career Design and is open to all Northeastern PhDs and postdocs.
