Inclusion and Diversity Series: Bringing Anti-racist Awareness to Educational Practice, Part 3

  • Organizer: CATLR
  • Venue: Virtual

In this three-part reading group, we will discuss excerpts from anti-racist texts that will help us bring racial awareness into our own educational practices, connecting reflection to action. Each week, the texts will be distributed for you to read in advance. In this third session of three, we will be discussing excerpts from “Running ‘Real’ Discussions Around Race” from Becoming A White Antiracist (Brookfield & Hess, 2021) alongside “What if I Talk About Race Wrong?” from So You Want to Talk About Race (Oluo, 2019).

You are invited to attend a single session or participate in all three sessions as a series. Please note: You will have to register for each individual session.

For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Diversity and Inclusive Teaching” requirement.

This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
