Integrated Research Series: GWiSE 3-Minute Thesis Competition

Northeastern GWiSE and Northeastern University Library have partnered to make 3 Minute Thesis possible, even in this unusual year. 

The event will take place on Wednesday, December 2nd at 2 PM ET on Zoom! All grad students are welcome to attend and/or present.
Here are the AMAZING PRIZES for this competition:
• First place: $100 Grubhub card, an interview on the Dean’s podcast, $100 credit for 3D printing at the library
• Second place: $50 Grubhub card, an interview on the Dean’s podcast, $50 credit for 3D printing at the library
• Third place: $25 Grubhub card, an interview on the Dean's podcast

It's never been easier to compete in Three Minute Thesis! Record a 3 minute video in which you present your thesis with a slide, you'll also have 20 seconds at the beginning to present yourself with a second slide.
You can easily record your video with Zoom!
To record with Zoom:
• Start a new meeting
• Click on share screen and select the window with your slides
• Hit the record button
• Present yourself in 20 seconds and your thesis in 3 minutes
• End the meeting
For a better result use a microphone to record your voice, be sure that you don't have background noise and have a static background of the video. More details will be provided after you RSVP.
