Join the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs for a discussion on law and policy in a time of polarization with Richard Rothstein, who will discuss his new book, The Color of Law (published in May 2017). In this history of the modern American metropolis, Rothstein argues that de jure segregation―the laws and policy decisions passed by local, state, and federal governments― promoted the discriminatory patterns that continue to this day.

This event is part of the School’s Lives in Law and Policy Speaker Series, which aims to provide opportunities for students, alumni, and members of the Northeastern community to hear and learn from leading figures in law and policy.
