Leveraging Strengths for Research Success and Career Choices
- Organizer: Northeastern University Employer Engagement and Career Design
- Venue: McLeod Suites Curry Student Center
We each have strengths that enable us to develop some skills more easily than others. This workshop is designed to help you identify your top 5 (out of 34) strengths to gain a deeper understanding of how you and others interact with the world. People who focus on using their strengths are 3 times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life and are 6 times as likely to be engaged in their jobs. In this workshop you will learn how to leverage these strengths in your current research program and in your career. Please RSVP by June 1st, which will provide enough time for you to complete a short survey (15 min.) prior and have your results available before the Workshop.
This workshop is a prerequisite for Leveraging Strengths for Leadership scheduled for July 12th.
