Academic Job Search Series: Teaching Statement Workshop
- Venue: Asynchronous Online Workshop
Your statement of teaching philosophy is a reflective document that communicates your beliefs, practices, and goals as a teacher to a variety of audiences, from your own students to academic search committees. During this two-week online experience, which will be facilitated asynchronously in Blackboard, you will explore the reflective and practical benefits of writing a statement, learn about the genre conventions of teaching statements, read and discuss sample statements, and write and exchange feedback with other participants. See the event website for more information.
