We would like to provide you with your Northeastern Student ID when you arrive at orientation on September 3rd.  In order to produce your ID card, we will need a photo of you.  We have therefore enabled “Photo upload” on the Services & Links area of your myNortheastern portal (  To upload a photo,

login to your portal, click Services & Links and then search for, or scroll to, Husky Card Preferences and click on that link.

You should next click on the Submit ID Photo link.

Please keep the following photo requirements in mind:


·         Photos must be in color

·         You must crop your photo from the neck up prior to uploading

·         Your face must be fully visible & facing forward (no side profiles)

·         Background of the photo should be solid white

·         Do Not Use Photos with hats, sunglasses, graduation caps, or other people/objects visible


Our office is unable to crop or rotate photos after they have been submitted, so make sure they are edited appropriately. The file must be no larger than 300 x 300 pixels, and must be saved as a .jpg and not a .jpeg.
