2018 PhD Pop-Up: A Networking Social and University Resource Showcase Just for PhD Students

Northeastern University’s PhD students will gather in the Cabot Center on Wednesday, November 14th for the Fall 2018 PhD Pop-Up. The event, organized jointly by Northeastern University’s PhD Network, Graduate Student Government, and Division for Student Affairs, provides PhD students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to network and learn about available Northeastern University resources.

The PhD Network, Graduate Student Government, and the Division for Student Affairs invite all Northeastern’s PhD Students to the 2018 PhD Pop-Up. This Pop-Up is an opportunity for you to network and meet PhD students, faculty and staff from across Northeastern University. It is also an opportunity to learn about resources available to our PhD students.

Join us on November 14th to learn about the many resources available to PhD students to suppor your:

Community: As a PhD student, you will be immersed in your research training and your advisor’s group. Northeastern also gives you access to the rich, interdisciplinary community within the university and an array of academic resources in Boston.

Wellness: Northeastern offers a broad range of services and programs to protect and promote the safety, health, and well-being of our students.

Academic pursuits: Northeastern’s resources can help you develop your research, writing skills, and presentations, and assure that you’re aware of relevant workshops, class schedules, and enrollment requirements.

Research activities: Funding your research requires advance planning and solid prepa- ration. Resources on Northeastern’s campus will apprise you of collaborative opportunities, internal fellowships, and grants, and federal funding opportunities.
