Nomination for Academic Technology Scholars is Open

Dear PhD Students,
We are pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for PhD Students.  PhD students are eligible to apply for the “Academic Technology Scholars” program, which will provide ​SGA stipend funding to selected PhD students for the full Summer 2020 term.  Students who are selected to receive this honor will receive training and the opportunity to earn a certificate in “Teaching with Academic Technology.”  These Academic Technology Scholars will also be members of a digital curriculum team dedicated to ​supporting faculty as they convert ​their courses to an online​ format in preparation for Fall 2020.  These efforts are aligned with our focus to ​ensure a differentiated, ​high-quality student experience for all of our learners.

Timetable:
Applications due: no later than Friday, May 1, 2020
Selections made: by Wednesday, May 6, 2020
Certification training starts: Monday, May 18, 2020

Applicants whose funding has been impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be given preference.  More information about the opportunity and the application process is available at the PhD Network website here.  Please direct questions to me.
