U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) – Summer Scholars Program
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Scholars Program introduces students or recent college graduates to DOE’s mission and operations. Participants in the DOE Scholars Program will have the opportunity to showcase their education, talent and skills and earn a competitive edge by learning first hand DOE functions.
Appointments are available in the following disciplines at participating DOE facilities nationwide:

- Computer Science and Information Technology
- Physics
- Business
- Policy
- Program Management
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Safety and Health
- Accounting and Finance
- Law
- Communications
- Other related areas
Duration
10 weeks
Funding
- Minimum $600 per week.
- Travel funds.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, and at least 16 years of age (no exceptions).
- Graduate students at an accredited institute of higher learning are eligible.
