- Organizer: Louis Stokes Regional Center of Excellence for the Study of STEM Interventions (SOSI Center)
- Venue: Virtual
We are excited to announce that the Louis Stokes Regional Center of Excellence for the Study of STEM Interventions (SOSI Center) will host our Lunch and Learn Webinar Series which is free for registered participants. Aligning with the SOSI Center Summer Institutes’ theme of Translating Critical, Strengths-Based Conceptual Frameworks to STEM Programming & Design, these webinars will introduce the participants to the methodologies and pedagogies that inform their practices and scholarship development and dissemination.
The series is particularly beneficial for those in the grant writing process, those wanting to publish their work on enhancing STEM inclusion, and faculty and administrators in STEM-related program design. The first event titled: ‘What is Data?’ will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 11:30 to 1 pm Central Time (US and Canada). The webinar will help participants understand what can count as data within STEM broadening participation programs and how they can begin to use data to disseminate research outcomes and communicate the impact of your program.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. Remember that Zoom's meeting and webinar registration for attendees will no longer display the join link on the confirmation page in the web browser; instead, you will receive the join link through the Zoom registration confirmation email.
