Making Meaning Out of Failure
- Organizer: Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning through Research
- Venue: 215 Snell Library
From the first day in college through, co-curricular, co-op, and graduate school, students have ample opportunities to experience what they perceive as “failure.” As educators, we also have an opportunity to help students develop the resilience to navigate and even grow in response to disappointment and setbacks. In this workshop you will consider the dispositions that help people make meaning out of failure, and explore strategies for intentionally cultivating those capabilities in the learners with whom you work.
