Economist Valerie Bostwick of Kansas State University will join us to discuss her recent study on factors affecting women’s STEM doctoral education. The study, done in collaboration with Economist Bruce A. Weinberg (Ohio State University, National Bureau of Economic Research, and IZA Institute of Labor Economics), made use of AARC (obtained through special research-use permission) combined with other data sources to investigate peer group gender composition among STEM doctoral cohorts.
