Teaching Series: Engaging Online Learners
- Organizer: CATLR
- Venue: Virtual
How can you keep students engaged and participating in a course when you never meet them in person? In this workshop, we will draw on frameworks from research on motivation, belonging, and online learning design, as well as the experience of Northeastern faculty, to suggest strategies for facilitating a meaningful learning experience for students in an asynchronous course.
For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Diversity and Inclusive Teaching,” or “Assignments, Assessment and Active Learning,” or “Course and Syllabus Design” requirements."
This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
