Teaching Series: Teaching as a Transferable Skill

Although most PhD students will have the opportunity to teach during their programs, not all PhD students will become professors. However, the skills acquired through teaching are both useful and valued in other contexts. In this workshop, you will explore the what transferable skills are part of your teaching experience, and how to articulate them to future employers in a resume, in an interview, or an elevator pitch.

This event is a collaboration between Employer Engagement and Career Design, The Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning through Research, and the PhD Network.
