Using Professional Development Funds
The purpose of awarded professional development funds is to aid students in their scholarly and research endeavors. Allowable expenses, such as travel to conferences, registration fees, or the purchase of necessary research supplies, will be paid through reimbursement must comply with university reimbursement policies (see the University Policies webpage, and in particular, the Policy on Travel & Expense Reimbursement).
Reimbursements using professional development funds are processed through a student’s home program or college, and students wishing to submit a reimbursement request should contact the appropriate program or college administrator to being the process.
