Cedar is a healthcare billing and engagement platform that focuses on data science and consumer-centric design to improve the healthcare experience for patients. 

Project Title – Predicting patient’s billing inquiries

Project Description:  

Cedar is building voice-based and in-app features that generate responses to patient billing inquiries. This project is focused around building a machine learning model that will anticipate what question a patient is likely to ask before they ask it, using the structured data in Cedar’s databases as input (which includes the patient’s bill and visit details).  

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes required: 

• Experience building Machine Learning models
• Experience in Python and SQL

Competencies Preferred: 

• Experience working with LLMs / NLP
• Has industry work experience in software/tech
