Project Title – Developing and Deploying Mass Spec Templates

Project Description:  

This LEADERs position is within the Attribute Sciencesfunctional area of Amgen’s Process Development Organization. The project is focused on developing structured data templates to capture mass spectrometry data. The LEADER candidate will extend the current template capabilities developed by the Attribute Sciences Digital and Pivotal Portfolio group. The candidate will focus on engaging with key scientists throughout the Process Development group for requirements gathering and implementing the new data capture process for mass spectrometry data. This position is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment and utilize diverse modeling approaches to improve and optimize process development workflows.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes required: 

• The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have a strong background in data sciences, and will be able to bridge the gap between analytical needs and software capabilities.
• Expertise in Excel.
• Additional knowledge of mass spec data structure, databricks, and electronic notebook systems may be beneficial.
• Interest in analytical chemistry including liquid chromatography is a welcome bonus.
