On Friday, February 21, Northeastern Employer Engagement and Career Design and the PhD Network are joining forces to present a new event connecting employers with talented Northeastern PhDs and postdocs through a “reverse career fair” focusing on opportunities in health. The PhD Career Forum will feature a morning of student poster presentations, in which a select group of PhD student and postdoc researchers will present their work to potential employers, who then have the option to invite students to screening/informational interviews in the afternoon. Placing students’ research and communication skills at the forefront, this event offers students a chance to discuss their research directly with employers looking to identify promising candidates before they make their debut on the job market.
Friday, February 21st, 2020, Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC), Northeastern University
Poster Session: 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Networking Luncheon 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Interview Sessions: 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
The deadline for applications to present a poster has now passed, but all Northeastern PhD students and postdocs can RSVP to attend the event as networkers. RSVP here.
