2018 Quantum Matters™ Science Communication Competition
Are you involved in quantum research? Have you always wanted to try your hand at communicating cool science to broader audiences? Here’s your chance!
Create a fabulous, jaw-dropping, 2 – 3 minute talk explaining a concept related to your area of research in quantum science or technology, and how it might matter to us in the future. Finalists will perform before a live audience at the Museum of Science, Boston during the NanoDays 2018 celebration on Saturday, April 7.

Each finalist will receive: expert coaching, a cash award ($50 – $250), a professionally-produced video, and other recognition.
Eligibility
- Currently involved in research in quantum science and technology at undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral, or faculty level.
- Available to perform at the Museum of Science on Saturday, April 7, 2018.
- Available for 1 or 2 private coaching session(s), between March 30 – April 6 at the Museum.
- Can provide own transportation to and from the Museum (parking provided).
