Academic Technology Scholars
We are pleased to announce the continuation of the Academic Technology Scholars program, which will provide SGA stipend funding to selected PhD students for the Spring 2023 term. Students who are selected to receive this honor will receive training and the opportunity to earn a certificate in “Teaching with Academic Technology.” These Academic Technology Scholars will also be members of a digital curriculum team dedicated to supporting faculty working in hybrid formats. These efforts are aligned with our focus to ensure a differentiated, high-quality student experience for all of our learners.
The Academic Technology training will build competencies in Canvas, elements of effective online delivery, and pedagogy fundamentals. Includes in-person and remote learning modalities and use of academic technology.
At the successful completion of the training, including portfolio submission and review if applicable, ATAP Scholars earn the badge.
