Amazon – Graduate Research Internship
At Amazon, PhD and Master’s interns are active team members on our engineering teams where they contribute to solving a diverse set of technical problems across large scale platforms using machine learning, large data sets and cloud computing. Amazon’s interns assist the benchmarking and future development of existing software applications across Amazon. They also help develop novel and highly scalable applications that optimize Amazon’s systems using cutting edge quantitative techniques in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Operations Research, and Distributed Computing. These interns help build innovative algorithms that model patterns within data to drive automated decisions at scale in all corners of the company, including Amazon’s ecommerce site, subsidiaries, Amazon Web Services, Seller & Buyer Services, and Digital Media & Kindle.
