American Concrete Institute (ACI) – Graduate Scholarships
The ACI Foundation awards more than $100,000 in fellowships and scholarships annually in the name of individuals, organizations, corporations, and the ACI. Promoted globally through ACI’s network of faculty members, these awards are given to the brightest and best students studying concrete.

Funding
- $5,000 educational stipend for tuition, residence, books, and materials; and
- Appropriate recognition in Concrete International magazine and on the Foundation website.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution prior to receiving the scholarship
- Be accepted for graduate study at an accredited college or university in an engineering, architecture, or materials science program.
- Pursue graduate studies in the area of concrete with an emphasis on structural design, materials, construction, or any combination thereof. Applicants for the Kumar Mehta Scholarship must be pursuing graduate research in sustainable concrete.
- Be full-time first- or second-year (after bachelor’s degree) graduate students during the entire scholarship year. Course work during a summer session will count toward the degree year. Applications will be accepted from anywhere in the world.
- Be endorsed by a faculty member who is also a member of the American Concrete Institute.
