Boston College – Center for Retirement Research – Dissertation and Postdoctoral Fellowships
The Center for Retirement Research at Boston College sponsors the annual Steven H. Sandell Grant Program for junior or senior postdoctoral scholars and the Dissertation Fellowship program for doctoral students in the field of retirement income research. The program is funded by the U.S. Social Security Administration to provide opportunities for scholars in a new area from all academic disciplines to pursue cutting-edge projects on retirement income issues.
I. Stephen H. Sandell Postdoctoral Grant Program
This program supports postdoctoral scholars from all academic disciplines who are working in a new area to pursue cutting-edge projects on retirement income issues. The grant is for one year. Award amount: $45,000.
II. Dissertation Fellowship Program
This program supports doctoral candidates from all academic disciplines who are pursuing cutting-edge research on retirement issues and who will become the next generation of retirement income and policy research scholars. Award amount: $28,000.
