Consortium for Faculty Diversity at Liberal Arts Colleges – Dissertation Fellowships
The Consortium for Faculty Diversity at Liberal Arts Colleges invites applications in all disciplines for Scholar-in-Residence appointments at over 60 nationally ranked institutions.
Scholars will receive a salary equivalent to that of Visiting Instructors at the host institution. Dissertation fellows will be expected to teach the equivalent of one semester-long course during the academic year, participate in functions such as departmental seminars, and interact regularly with students. Mentoring on teaching, scholarship, and professional life at liberal arts colleges will be provided.
Applications are available to all CFD consortia member colleges & universities, which award appointments based on their individual policies, procedures, and academic needs.
The Consortium has a rolling application system to meet the various search timeline of its member institutions. It is however recommended that applications are submitted by indicated deadline to assure that one’s dossier is available for consideration. All applications can be updated after submission. The system would only display the more recently saved updates.
Our member colleges have a clearer idea as to specific Fellowship position needs and work directly with candidates for appointments.
