G. L. Cloud Scholarship
The purpose of this award is to celebrate professor Cloud’s many years of contributions to the field of experimental mechanics by recognizing a unique individual and their aspirational goals to both pursue a graduate degree in experimental mechanics and contribute their new found knowledge for the betterment of society.

Reimbursement of all (student-rate) SEM Annual conference fees paid by the recipient(s).
Reimbursement of all reasonable travel expenses incurred by the recipient(s) in attending the SEM Annual conference where the award will be granted.
Recognition of the recipient through presentation of a framed certificate and a check in the amount of $3,000 USD at the Conference Luncheon and Awards Ceremonies conducted in conjunction with the SEM Annual Conference.
The recipient shall be a student in good standing at a recognized college or university.
The recipient is encouraged to become a member of the SEM.
The scholarship is open to all interested individuals.
