Hebrew University – Lady Davis Fellowship Trust – Postdoctoral Fellowship

9-12 months with possibility for extension

• NIS 5,404 stipend per month for fellows who have held their doctorates for less than two years.
• NIS 5,971 stipend plus NIS 1,000 rental allowance per month for fellows who have held their doctorates for more than two years.
• Roundtrip flight from the fellow’s country of origin.
• Half of medical insurance purchased in Israel (see website for restrictions).

• Applicants must have received their doctoral no earlier than October 1, 2014.
• Fellowships are rarely awarded to candidates who have received their doctorate at the Hebrew University and wish to continue immediately with a postdoctoral fellowship.
• Individuals who have already engaged in postdoctoral research at the University should consult the website for further guidelines.
• Applicants are required to have an academic sponsor of the rank of lecturer or above. See website for further details. Sponsors in the Faculties of Science, Medicine, Dentistry and Agriculture will be expected to cover 50% of the fellowship cost.
