Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program

Are you currently pursuing or have you recently completed your advanced degree (e.g. Master’s, Ph.D., J.D.)? Are you interested in an exciting and rewarding career in public service, and are you ready to lead in confronting the Nation’s challenges in public health, national security, environment, education, and more? Look no further than the PMF Program! The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program is the Federal Government’s premier leadership development program for advanced degree holders/candidates across all disciplines and drawn from all segments of society. It is a two-year fellowship, full-time with full salary and benefits, that can ultimately lead to a career in the Federal Government. The program works with over 100 Federal agencies to place Fellows. By drawing graduate students from diverse social, cultural and academic backgrounds, the PMF Program provides a continuing source of trained individuals to meet the future challenges of public service.

The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program seeks eligible individuals for assessment and potential subsequent selection as Finalists to obtain appointments as Fellows in the Federal Government.

Those applicants selected as Finalists will be able to search for PMF appointment opportunities offered by participating Federal agencies. Additional details can be found under the Become a PMF\Find a Job section on the PMF website.

The PMF Class of 2023 Application opens at Noon (ET), Tuesday, September 13, 2022, and closes at Noon (ET), Tuesday, September 27, 2022

$61,947 – $116,788 per year

Pay subject to change based on duty location

Eligibility

Applicants must have obtained an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, Ph.D., J.D), within the two years preceding the opening date of this announcement (i.e., between September 13, 2020, through September 13, 2022), or expect to complete all advanced degree requirements, including the successful defense/completion of any required thesis/dissertation, by August 31, 2023. The advanced degree must be from an accredited academic institution.

There are no GPA (grade point average) or age restrictions associated with the application.
