Reimagining Museums for Climate Action: An International Design Competition
The Arts and Humanities Research Council invites entries for its reimagining museums for climate action competition. This seeks to reimagine the role of museums to help society transform to a low carbon future, adapt to the impacts of climate change, and safeguard ecosystems. This competition asks designers, architects, academics, artists, poets, philosophers, writers, museum professionals, indigenous groups, community groups and the public at large to radically reimagine and redesign the museum as an institution, to help bring about more equitable and sustainable futures in the climate change era.
Proposals that address the following priority themes are of particular interest:
– climate justice;
– green futures.
