RIT Future Faculty Career Exploration Program

Deadline: 03/31/2021

RIT’s Future Faculty Career Exploration Program is geared toward African American, Latino American, and Native American MFA/PhD candidates and recent grads, postdocs or early career researchers who aspire for a career in the professoriate. In short, participants get a “behind the scene” glimpse into life as a professor at RIT.  If selected to participate, you would be hosted by your discipline’s department chair where you can learn from and network with administration, faculty and students in your field. You’ll get experience practicing your interview and presentation skills to better position yourself in the job market – all while exploring the scholarship, teaching and service expectations of RIT faculty.
