The Roothbert Fund awards grants for undergraduate and graduate study in the United States. It also works to build fellowship among current and former grant recipients.

The principal focus of The Fund is its Scholarships Program, through which it makes grants for undergraduate or graduate study at accredited colleges or universities. Scholarships may only be applied to study at an accredited institution based in the United States. International students are eligible as long as they are in the U. S. when they apply.
