Conference: Global Health in a Changing World
- Organizer: Employer Engagement and Career Design
- Venue: East Village, 291 St. Boltoph St.
The face of global health is undeniably changing. GHCW is a seamlessly integrated research and experiential learning forum that explores this changing landscape in a nuanced, multifaceted way. Attendees will develop new research and industry relationships, learn how to advocate for change on a local, national, and international level, and ultimately be prepared to take meaningful steps in their own lives.
GHCW: People, Planet, and Technology is a joint venture that spans across the Northeastern University Global Campus. Addressing three primary themes shaping the face of global health today--populations in health, climate change and sustainability in health, and technology in health--GHCW will bring students together with leading researchers, clinicians, and industry experts to develop connections across disciplines and areas of expertise. This interdisciplinary conference features plenary speakers on forced migration, technology, climate change, and emerging infectious diseases, as well as tech talks, networking sessions, poster sessions, and workshops.
