Effective May 15, 2020 all ongoing critical research and requests to resume research on campus must follow the “Process for Returning to the Research Laboratories, the Field and Re-engaging in Human Subjects Research” communicated to all faculty by email on May 15, 2020 and a available here. PIs seeking to continue critical research projects during this time are required to follow the instructions here.

For students, individual decisions to return to campus, laboratories, and approved human subjects research will be voluntary, and we will operate on the principle that people opt-in at this time. For employees, individual decisions should be discussed with managers.
