Nearly half of Northeastern’s PhD students are international, which enriches our campus and the education of all of our PhD students across our degree programs.
Northeastern supports international students and scholars through a variety of activities and initiatives. In addition to the many resources available to PhD students, Northeastern’s Office of Global Services website, or OGS, is a primary resource for our international students, serving as the source of information for visa matters throughout your PhD journey. OGS supports the arrival and orientation of new international students and programming, outings, and many other opportunities for students, both domestic and international, to connect.
