Alexia Ferracuti, PhD
Senior Associate Director, Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning Through Research
Dr. Alexia Ferracuti develops and facilitates programming and services that promote reflection, inquiry, and inclusive pedagogy. She is especially interested in the integration of contemplative practices in higher education, intercultural pedagogies, and embodied forms of learning.
Alexia joins Northeastern from Columbia University, where she served as Assistant Director at the Center for Teaching and Learning. Previously, she was Assistant Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Yale University, where she focused on the mentorship and professional development of doctoral students and oversaw the Graduate Teaching Fellows Program.
Alexia earned her Ph.D. with distinction from Yale University in Italian and Renaissance Studies with a research focus on the multivalence of sexual ambiguity and imitation in early modern comedy, art, and performance. She has taught courses at Yale University and Wesleyan University in Italian Language and Literature, Theatre Studies, and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies.

Anne Grieves
Associate Director, Career Development
Anne Grieves is an Associate Director in Career Development at Northeastern University as well as a Gallup Certified CliftonStrengths Coach. Anne enjoys guiding individuals, groups, and teams towards identifying and achieving their goals. Collaborating with Anne, her clients learn how to focus on their individual strengths in order to maximize their personal and professional potential. Anne's unique approach provides people with the tools they need to experience a paradigm shift in how to explore new possibilities and re-imagine their goal-setting. Her two daughters, husband, and dog fill the unscheduled hours in her day.

Jennifer Boyle-Lynch
Interim Co-Director, Center for Research Innovation
Jennifer was recently promoted to Senior Associate Director of Finance and Operations at the Center for Research Innovation at Northeastern University. She joined Northeastern in the role of Manager of Administration and Finance in the Office of Technology Innovation and Commercialization in May 2010. Prior to coming to Northeastern, she worked for two years in the field of Sponsored Research and held the position of International Project Coordinator at Harvard School of Public Health in the Department of Nutrition. Jennifer began her career as a business entrepreneur as the founding President of Nu-Print, Incorporated, which she managed for 14 years before venturing into the sector of higher education.

John Armendariz
Vice Provost for Institutional Diversity & Inclusion
John Armendariz
Dr. John V. Armendariz currently serves as Northeastern University’s Vice Provost of Institutional Diversity & Inclusion. With experience in government, healthcare, nonprofit, and higher education, John brings a deep knowledge of working within an organization to engage stakeholders and enhance a culture that welcomes and includes a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives. Prior to joining Northeastern, John served as Associate Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Yale University, where he directed diversity programming aimed at creating an organizational culture of inclusion and consulted with senior leadership and academic departments to advance and align diversity efforts. John has also worked in diversity leadership roles at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the Texas Department of Health. John graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio, earned a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Texas, and holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island.

Stephanie Trowbridge
Interim AVP, Academic Technology and Customer Services
Stephanie Trowbridge serves as the Interim Assistant Vice President Director for Academic Technology and Information Technology Customer Services.
She holds an MS in Project Management and BA in Management Information Systems. Stephanie has worked at Northeastern for more than 20 years in the many areas of Information Technology that support teaching and learning. This experience has enabled her to create an agile academic technology group that continues to evolve and innovate as the needs for teaching and learning change. Her overall focus is on Customer Experience (CX) that encompasses all touchpoints and interactions with Information Technology Services.
Academic Technology Services (ATS) staff offer consultation and support to those creating online content or incorporating flipped or active classroom techniques into their on-ground courses. ATS maintains and administers University-wide software, tools, and services that support teaching and learning such as Blackboard, Blackboard Collaborate, Poll Anywhere, Tegrity, Captivate, Voice Thread, Digication, and Articulate360. We also provide digital media technology services to help faculty create engaging and multimodal content. ATS staff provides walk-in support, scheduled consultation, and training in various formats to help faculty understand the functionality and application of teaching and learning technologies.
Customer Services is the front line to all services and technology one needs to learn, teach and work at Northeastern. Support is available 24 hours by calling X4357 or by emailing [email protected]. Chat is available from 8 to 6pm daily.
